The sound

The EA-MT1 mono amplifier from EMPHASER's Monolith series offers not only concentrated power, but also outstanding dynamics and special signal fidelity. Minimal distortion as well as a powerful, dynamic bass response are characteristics that distinguish this top digital power amplifier.

The performance

Measuring only 212 x 35 x 110 mm, this very compact bass amplifier offers high performance in a very small space. The unusual die-cast aluminum heat sink design allows for significantly smaller dimensions while maintaining excellent temperature management. The optimized Class-D amplifier circuitry, in conjunction with the massive heat sink, ensures enormous power: with 1 x 450 W RMS into 4 ohms and 1 x 600 W RMS into 2 ohms, the EA-MT1 is an optimal power source for any subwoofer.

The equipment

The EA-MT1 features a 12 dB/oct subsonic filter (15 - 40 Hz) and a 12 dB/oct low-pass filter (50 - 500 Hz), an integrated bass boost (0 - 15 dB @ 40 Hz), and a variable phase shift (0 - 180°). All controls are hidden under the massive bar with the EMPHASER logo milled into it. Other features include RCA and high-level inputs as well as an auto-turn-on function for connection to original radios without RCA output - making it easy to combine the EA-MT4 4-channel amplifier with factory-installed radios.
