The sound

The 4-channel amplifier EA-MT4 from EMPHASER's Monolith series offers not only concentrated power, but also outstanding dynamics and special signal fidelity. The very linear frequency response from 10 Hz - 55 kHz and the low distortion values give the music signal the opportunity to fully unfold and not miss any detail. The high channel separation > 60 dB provides a wonderful spatiality and accurate placement of the music action.

The performance

Measuring only 212 x 35 x 110 mm, the very compact EA-MT4 offers high performance in a very small space. The exceptional die-cast aluminum heat sink design allows for significantly smaller dimensions while maintaining excellent temperature management. The optimized Class-D amplifier circuitry, in conjunction with the massive heat sink, ensures enormous power: with 4 x 100 W RMS into 4 ohms and 2 x 320 W RMS bridged, the EA-MT4 is a perfect power source for any car audio system.

The equipment

The EA-MT4 has an extensive crossover with 12 dB/oct. high-pass and low-pass filters. The filters are adjustable in a very wide control range from 20 - 4000 Hz (high pass) and from 50 - 5000 Hz (low pass), so that the EA-MT4 can also be used for active systems. The filters are individually selectable and can be combined to a bandpass filter (HPF + LPF). All controls are hidden under the massive bar with the milled EMPHASER logo. Other features include RCA and high-level inputs, as well as an auto-turn-on function for connection to original radios without RCA output - making it easy to combine the EA-MT4 4-channel amplifier with factory-installed radios.
