Bass fun in your car without wasting valuable trunk space? EMPHASER's EBS108A active subwoofer provides punchy bass waves and powerful, dynamic sound in the vehicle and can be easily installed in the spare wheel well or in the rim of the spare wheel to save space.

The EBS108A has a cast aluminum housing that, at 36 cm in diameter and 14.5 cm in height, fits common rims 15″ and larger in diameter. The EBS108A housing has a central recess for the vehicle-side mandrel or the included threaded rod. This is simply passed through the woofer and spare wheel together with bass box can thus be attached with only one mandrel. The bottom of the enclosure is made of low-resonance plastic and contains the bass reflex tunnel as well as a grilled spacer that serves as diaphragm protection. The woofer is mounted according to the downfire principle, i.e. with the speaker pointing downwards, so that optimal radiation and even distribution of the bass waves is possible.

In the stable housing construction works a powerful 20 cm / 8" woofer with glass fiber cone, and durable butyl rubber surround and 2 Ohm voice coil. The integrated, high-quality amplifier module provides a whopping 150 watts RMS. The active subwoofer has numerous audio adjustment options: Low Pass Filter (50 - 150 Hz), Subsonic Filter (at 20 Hz), Gain, Phase and Bass Boost. Also included is a remote control to conveniently control all functions from the cockpit. Helpful for connection to factory radios (without REM output) is the Auto Turn-On function, which automatically turns on the EBS111A as soon as a music signal is present at the high-level input.
