EMPHASER EM-BMWF1 - For the joy of listening to music

Retrofitted in just a few minutes, this high-end component system transforms your BMW or MINI into a rolling concert hall.

The perfect tuning of the individual components enables an impressive sound experience - with great dynamics, natural voices and fine-drawing highs. The core element of the system is the aluminum cone of the 10 cm woofer / midrange driver. The high sound conductivity and stability of aluminum are the guarantors for an undistorted, precise music reproduction.

The 2-way system for door installation has a sturdy aluminum die-cast basket that fits perfectly into the installation openings of many BMW models. The connection is made via the vehicle-specific connector terminal of the EM-BMWF1. The midrange driver has a powerful ferrite magnet and a Faraday copper cap mounted on the pole core for impedance linearization: thanks to the stable magnetic field, the connected amplifier can deliver constant power and reproduce a distortion-free sound image.

The 25 mm tweeter with fabric dome is responsible for the terrific spatial sound. The diaphragm geometry provides a uniform directional characteristic for excellent sound and spatial reproduction in the original installation location. In addition to the low weight of the diaphragm, surround and voice coil, the conscious decision not to use ferrofluid is primarily responsible for the fact that the tweeter plays so vividly, dynamically and without coloration. Thanks to its special housing, the tweeter can be easily installed in the original mounting location.

Included is a 12/6 dB / oct. crossover with vehicle-specific connectors the easy installation on the BWM connectors. A highlight of the crossover is also the switchable high-pass filter to filter out low bass frequencies.

The EM-BMWF1 can be combined with the powerful EMPHASER under-seat basses EM-BMWSUB2. Alternatively, a 2-way coaxial system is also available: EM-BMWR1.
