The EMPHASER Universe speakers provide audiophile sound experiences in your Mercedes Benz. The selected materials allow a high precision in music reproduction - with exceptional detail and immense spatial depth. The 2-way component system EM-MBF2 is acoustically perfectly matched to various Mercedes-Benz models and can be easily exchanged for the original factory system. All components fit perfectly into the speaker mounts and are simply connected to the original plugs.

The core element of the speaker set are the 10 cm midrange drivers with aluminum cone. The high sound conductivity and stability of aluminum is the basis for an undistorted music reproduction. The aluminum voice coil former and the Connex center spider ensure consistent quality and durability. The 25 mm tweeters with fabric dome impress with their high resolution and attention to detail.

The EM-MBF2 comes with extensive crossovers. They include 6/12 dB filtering with high-quality components for the midrange and tweeter splitting. In the midrange branch, an LCR resonant circuit has also been integrated to optimally adapt the system to the vehicle acoustics. In addition, there is a switchable high-pass filter for the midrange to remove very low frequencies from the signal.

The result is audiophile music reproduction with true hi-fi character. Instruments and voices are perceptible at dashboard level - rich in detail and with immense spatial depth.

The EM-MBF2 is compatible with Mercedes-Benz W205, C205*, A205*, X253, C253, W213, S213, C238, A238, W222 (*for mounting in the front doors the tweeter mount of the Burmester system has to be retrofitted).

The set comes with a high-pass crossover that removes very low frequencies from the signal.

Note: Not compatible with an existing Burmester sound system, as the original connections do not provide a complete music signal with this equipment variant.
