EMPHASER ESP-DM2 - Self-adhesive alu-butyl insulation mat, 4,5 mm, 2 pcs. à 20 x 20 cm

The ESP-DM2 composite insulation mat improves vehicle interior acoustics, reduces vehicle resonance, engine, rolling or vibration noise, and thus enables optimal music playback in the car or motorhome.

The material thickness is 4.5 mm and is optimized for use on vehicle doors. The combination of a layer of aluminum butyl with an aluminum layer as a base and a top layer of acoustic foam reduces unwanted resonance of the outer door panel or the door trim, eliminates sound reflections in the door and thus ensures impressive bass reproduction. The aluminum layer lends additional stability, while the butyl reduces the self-resonance of the door panel or the trim part to be insulated.

ESP-DM2 has excellent damping properties, is characterized by its high rigidity, but also easy formability. The damping mat is easy to process - simply cut to size with scissors or a cutter knife and press on with a pressure roller.

The particularly strong adhesive butyl makes ESP-DM2 a durable and temperature-resistant insulation material that can also withstand extreme temperature fluctuations. ESP-DM2 is designed as a one-step solution, but can also be combined with the aluminum-butyl insulation mat ESP-DM4 as a final layer. Also available as ESP-DM1 (2 pcs. à 2000 x 460 mm)
