EMPHASER ESP-T2 - The Quick-Connect Terminal for Double Subwoofer Boxes
The ESP-T2 is a patented subwoofer terminal consisting of a junction box and an insulated 2-piece plug with gold-plated, strain-relieved screw terminals. It offers the possibility to connect two subwoofers or one subwoofer with a dual voice coil. Another highlight is the connection for a lighting. The installation hole is 77 mm in diameter.

+ Very stable and solid
+ everything you need for connection
-Installation very complicated due to the shape ( no cutting template included )My impression during installation was faulty construction.
- Screw holes far too close to the housing. Had to additionally glue.
-Electrical contact not always guaranteed ( probably because of the spring clips on the pin )
-Contact resistance from terminal to woofer. Measured 1.2 Ohm at the chassis and 1.6 Ohm at the terminal. This means that some power is lost...
