The ESW-M8 is an ultimate all-rounder that impresses with quality, power and sound. Whether installed in a compact closed box or in a high-level bass reflex cabinet - this 20 cm (8 inch) subwoofer from the EMPHASER Monolith series provides a powerful bass thunderstorm in any car, truck or motorhome.

The components of this bass speaker are specifically selected and optimally matched to each other. For example, the torsion-resistant, robust aluminum cone is perfect for detailed, low-distortion reproduction due to its low weight.

The combination of aluminum diaphragm and powerful strontium ferrite double ring magnets is the basis for the good efficiency of this bass driver. In addition, a 4-layer voice coil made of copper wire, wound on a temperature-resistant polyimide carrier, which ensures a high electrical load capacity.

Other product highlights include a sturdy, efficiently vented die-cast aluminum basket, a butyl rubber surround designed for high excursion, a durable Connex center spider, and a solid pressure connection terminal.
